Jane York Bornstein offers an educational group on managing stress and building psychological resilience. This group may be of help for those struggling with chronic pain, illness and high stress, as well as those interested in developing a peaceful relationship with their emotions.

Family and Couples counseling, including work with families of veterans, gay and lesbian families, trans-racial, and immigrant families.
Child Therapy, including play therapy.
Therapy with adult adoptees and adoptive families.
Treatment of psychological trauma and PTSD, including combat veterans, first responders and children coping with medical interventions.
Treatment of mood disorders integrating interpersonal (IPT), cognitive (CBT) and psychodynamic perspectives.
Education & Training
Jane York Bornstein received her BA in English Literature, and her MSW from the University of Michigan. Her clinical internship took place at the University Center for the Child and the Family, University of Michigan Institute for Human Adjustment. She was awarded the Clinical Social Work Post-Masters Fellowship in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Michigan's Department of Psychiatry. She later served as Staff Clinical Social Worker in the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Clinic of the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
