Fee Information

Dr. Dumas has a fee for service practice. A receipt will be provided which can be submitted to a third party payer for reimbursement if possible. Payment is requested at time of service.

Dr. Dumas is a child & adolescent psychiatrist and board certified general psychiatrist. She provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in treating adolescent and young adult mood and anxiety disorders with psychotherapy, using primarily psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) modalities. Since September 2010, she has also maintained a position as adjunct clinical instructor at the University of Michigan department of psychiatry, where she provides pharmacotherapy to adults in the PsychOncology Clinic through the Comprehensive Cancer Center. She supervises and teaches residents, fellows, and medical students in her role at the university.

Education & Training

Dr. Dumas earned her bachelor of science in biochemistry from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. She returned to Ann Arbor to complete her residency in general psychiatry and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Michigan. During her fellowship training, she served as education coordinator, teaching medical students during their rotations in the child psychiatry clinic. She is currently a candidate training to be a psychoanalyst through the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.
